2. Do I need a UCSF account to print?

Currently, you must have an active UCSF email and password to print.

  • UCSF staff, faculty and students - Log in to dmwebpay.ucsf.edu with your UCSF email address and password, and then add funds to your account.
  • New hires - If you do not yet have a UCSF email account, please contact your department for printing options.
  • Members of the public - UCSF Library spaces are not currently open to the public, but we will reopen soon, and we are exploring options for printing without a UCSF email account. In the interim, please visit your nearest public library to access printing services. San Francisco Public Library locations are listed on the SFPL website.
3. How much does printing cost?

Printing from shared Library spaces is not free. Per-page charges help to offset the cost of paper supplies, ink supplies and printer maintenance:

  • $0.12 cents per page: B&W, single-sided
  • $0.24 cents per page: B&W, double-sided
  • $0.25 cents per page: Color, single-sided
  • $0.50 cents per page: Color, single-sided

Note: You must print from a shared computer workstation (not your personal laptop).

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to dmwebpay.ucsf.edu.
  2. Enter your UCSF email address and password to log in. Do not include the domain in the Username field (i.e. CAMPUS, UCSFMC or SOM). If you have forgotten your UCSF email address or password, please contact the IT Service Desk.
