Reload via EZproxy

How to use

  • While viewing an article-level page from sources like ScienceDirect, PubMed, or NEJM, click the Reload via EZproxy button in your browser toolbar to get past the paywall.
  • It will run a script and prompt you to log in with MyAccess identifying you as UCSF and allowing you to see the full text, if UCSF subscribes.

When to use

  • The bookmarklet is most helpful if you often search for articles when you’re not on the UCSF network, and you have not started from your search from library.ucsf.edu
  • It will not work for UC Library Search results. In those cases just Sign in as prompted with MyAccess to get full text, if available
